The annual meeting of the Latino Judges Association June 21, 2018 New York City Bar Association On June 21, 2018, members of the Latino Judges Association gathered together at the New York City Bar Association for their annual membership meeting. Founded in 1988, the Latino Judges Association, Inc., was developed by a group of Latino Judges determined to increase and to promote diversity on the bench. The purpose of the Association includes: to serve as a forum to discuss areas of mutual concern among Latino Judges; to encourage judicial service among Latinos; to publicize and recognize achievements of Latino Judges and others; and to educate the public about the judicial system and the role of the Latino Judges
